Dear SE practitioner and SE students,
we will invite you again to a 4½ day seminar "Heling and Archetypes" with Peter Levine and Laura Regalbuto on the Greek island Naxos. This year the Brazilian SE teacher and psychologist Sonia Gomes will be the guest teacher. A fantastic arrangement to work with archetypes of different cultures and have yoga to embody the experience.

Traumaheling ApS is pleased to invite you to another extraordinary workshop led by Dr. Peter Levine and Laura Regalbuto. Last year, Peter’s workshop with Marianne Bentzen as guest teacher was a huge success. The event was hosted by the Danish SE association as their 5th anniversary celebration. This year’s guest teacher will be Sônia Gomes, an international SE trainer on all levels. Sônia is deeply connected to the native roots of her Brazilian tribe. Her rituals and spiritual ceremonies are archetypal and a perfect supplement to the Greek roots of archetypes. A connection between western and more native archetypes can be created.
The workshop will again take place in the beautiful small village of Apollonas on the Greek island of Naxos. Also this year there will be an opportunity to join a full day boat excursion visiting the small islands around Naxos.
HEALING AND ARCHETYPES
With Peter A. Levine, Ph.D., Laura Regalbuto, M.F.A., M.S.W. and Sônia Gomes, psychologist
“The “solution” to our clients’ suffering is frequently found in something outside of their problems. This ”something” must evoke a potent energetic response while also having the capacity to dynamically interact with their symptoms. The potential for deep healing is frequently embodied by an archetypal configuration. In order for it to be effective as a healing catalyst, the archetypal constellation must meet two primary conditions. First, it must generate a resonance with the symptoms, promoting a restructuring of the energy pathologically bound in them. The transformation manifests as a higher level of self-organization, resilience, and wholeness. Secondly, engaging in this dynamic relationship between symptom and archetype must seem plausible, viable, and relevant to the individual.
We will undertake our exploration together on the magical Greek Isle of Naxos, which is palpably imbued with art and archetypes, and enriched by its Cycladic legacy of five thousand years of mythic wisdom. The schedule will feature personal and group work, yoga, art, and movement as ways to awaken the sleeping muse who lies dormant in all of our psyches.” (Peter Levine)
The course is directed towards SE practitioners and SE students who have completed the Beginner level. There will be 4½ teaching days with Peter Levine and Laura Regalbuto, as well as Sônia Gomes as guest teacher. Laura will teach yoga every morning.
Dates: 5th to 9th of September 2008
Costs: D.kr. 5.500.- (Danish kroner) (750 Euro), tuition. Room and board costs are paid separately. A double room at Hotel Kouros costs 155 Euro per person for 6 nights, including breakfast and lunch. One day includes only breakfast, because of the boat trip. Additional meals are not included on the trip. Airfare and ferry at own expense.
Coffee, tea and fruit will be served. Lunch is included in the hotel price for 5 days. Dinner at own expense at the restaurants in Apollonas.
